Genova is a 1953 Tamil-language movie written by Swami Brahmavruthan, Suratha, Elangovan and Nedumaran. The movie is directed by F. Nagoor and produced by E. P. Eppan under the banner of Chandra Pictures. Genova features M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role along with B. S. Saroja, P. S. Veerappa and M. G. Chakrapani in supporting roles. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan along with M. S. Gnanamani and T. A. Kalyanam. Cinematography was done by Jithan Banerjee and G. Vittal Rao and editing by N. B. Nataraja Mudaliar. It was released on 1st January 1953 in Malayalam and Tamil languages. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹1 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Chandra Pictures.
