Periyanna is a 1999 Tamil-language Action Drama movie written by Suresh. K and directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by Jaya and S. K. Subbiah under the banner of Jaya Subhashree Productions. A prisoner falls in love with the district collector's daughter while giving her music lessons. Fearing opposition, they elope to a village and befriend the village chief who vows to get them married. Periyanna features Manasa, Vijayakanth, Meena Durairaj, Suriya Sivakumar and Aachi Manorama.
