John Henry is a 2020 English-language Drama Thriller film written by Doug Skinner and Will Forbes. The movie is directed by Will Forbes and produced by Maurice Fadida, Eric B. Fleischman and Brian Kavanaugh-jones under the banner of Defiant Studios in collaboration with Automatik. Ex-gang member John Henry (Terry Crews) is a quiet man with a violent past. When two immigrant kids on the run from his former South Los Angeles gang leader (Chris Ludacris Bridges) stumble into his life, John is forced to reconcile with his past in order to try and give them a future. John henry stars Terry Crews in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jamila Velazquez, J.j. Soria, Ken Foree, Chris ludacris Bridges, Maestro Harrell and Ludacris. The music was composed by Dj Quik along with Will Forbes. Cinematography was done by Isiah Donte Lee and editing by Joe Rosenbloom. The motion picture has a running time of 91 minutes. It was released on 24th January 2020. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Saban Films.
