Kalpana is a 2013 kannada-language Drama Horror film written by Lawrence Raghavendra, V. Harikrishna and Raghava Lawrence. The movie is directed by Ramanarayanan and Rama Narayanan and produced by Sri Thenandal Films. Raghava is a fun-loving youngster who enjoys playing cricket with his friends. But at night he is afraid.. Kalpana stars Upendra in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Lakshmi Rai, Saikumar, Babu Antony, Sai Kumar, Shruti and Umashree. The movie is based on Kanchana by Raghava Lawrence. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna. Cinematography was done by K. S. Selvaraj. It was released on 10th June 2013. The Film was successful at box office. Kalpana was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹11 crore.
