Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love is a 2015 Hindi-language Crime Drama motion picture written and directed by Mira Nair and produced by Mira Nair, Lydia Dean Pilcher and Caroline Baron under the banner of NDF International in collaboration with Pony Canyon, Pandora Filmproduktion, Channel Four Films and Mirabai Films. Kama sutra: a tale of love stars Naveen Andrews in the title role along with Sarita Choudhury, Ramon Tikaram, Rekha and Indira Varma in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Mira Nair which is inspired from Utran by Wajida Tabassum. The music was composed by Mychael Danna. Cinematography was done by Declan Quinn and editing by Kristina Boden. The film has a running time of 117 minutes. It was released on 19th February 2016. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Trimark Pictures.
