Kanden Kadhalai is a 2009 Tamil-language Comedy Romance film written by Imtiaz Ali, R. Kannan, Pattukottai Prabhakar, Dhananjayan G., V.m. Lalitha and Pattukkottai Prabakar. The movie is directed by R. Kannan and produced by Dhananjayan G., V. M. Lalitha and G. Dhananjayan under the banner of Blue Ocean Entertainment in collaboration with Moser Baer. A chance encounter between two polar-opposite strangers on a train journey ends up changing their lives. Kanden kadhalai features Tamannaah in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Sapan Saran, Bharath Srinivasan, Tamanna Bhatia, Santhanam N, Munna and Bs Ravichandran. The screenplay is written by Kannan. The music was composed by Vidyasagar. Cinematography was done by P. G. Muthiah and editing by Kola Bhaskar. It was released on 30th October 2009.
