Khandaan is a 1979 Hindi-language Drama Romance motion picture written by Omar Khayyam Saharanpuri and Naqsh Lyallpuri. The movie is directed by Anil Ganguly and produced by Sibte Hassan Rizvi under the banner of New World Enterprises. The Srivastav family consists of Gaurishankar, his wife, Savitri, two sons, Vikas and Ravi, who lead a poor lifestyle in a village in India.. Khandaan features Sulakshana Pandit, Bindiya Goswami, Jeetendra Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Nirupa Roy, Bindu Desai and Ramesh Bhatia. The screenplay is written by Nubendu Ghosh. The music was composed by Khayyam. Cinematography was done by Dilip Rajan Mukerjee and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirale. The film has a running time of 130 minutes.
