Khawto is a 2016 Bengali-language Thriller motion picture written and directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and produced by Shrikant Mohta under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. A young couple meet a mysterious man who, in the course of conversation, covers Japanese cuisine, Bengali literature, and his own checkered past. Khawto stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Raima Sen, Rahul Banerjee, Ranodeep Bose, Ushasie Chakraborty and Mishka Halim. The music was composed by Anupam Roy. It was released on 22nd July 2016. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Shree Venkatesh Films.
