Krishnavataram is a 1982 Telugu-language Action Comedy movie written and directed by A. Sarkunam and produced by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana and Nazir under the banner of Sherali Films. Krishnavataram stars Vimal in the title role along with Oviya, Saranya Ponvannan, Ganja Karuppu, Ilavarasu, Antony, Sridevi Kapoor and Krishna Ghattamaneni in supporting roles. The music was composed by S. S. Kumaran. Cinematography was done by Om Prakash and editing by Raja Mohammad. It was released on 18th September 1982. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Ayngaran International.
