Kuppathu Raja is a 2019 Tamil-language Comedy Drama motion picture written and directed by Baba Bhaskar and produced by M Saravanan, S Siraj and T Saravanan under the banner of S FOCUSS. Set against the backdrop of a slum in Chennai, the movie is about the relationships between a few slum dwellers and how some anti-social elements create unrest in their lives. Kuppathu raja features G. V. Prakash Kumar in the title role along with Parthiban, Palak Lalwani, Poonam Bajwa and Yogi Babu in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Baba Bhaskar. The music was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Cinematography was done by Mahesh Muthuswami and editing by Praveen K. L. The film has a running time of 120 minutes. It was released on 5th April 2019.
