Ladies Special is a 1993 Telugu-language Comedy Drama film written by Jandhyala Subramanya Sastry and directed by Jandhyala Subramanya Sastry, Kaushik Ghatak and Saagar Kagra and produced by Sanjiv Sharma and Vipul D. Shah under the banner of Optimystix Entertainment for Sony Entertainment Television. Four women working in a supermarket kidnap their manager after being told that they would be laid off, to improve sales and keep their jobs. Ladies special features Vani Viswanathan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Suresh, Divya Vani, Sandhya Shantaram, Poojitha, Suthi Velu and Dasari Brahmam. The music was composed by Rajan-nagendra. The movie has a running time of 24 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1993.
