Lal Americayil is a 1989 Malayalam-language Drama Family movie written by Cochin Hanifa and directed by Sathyan Anthikad and Sathyan Anthikkad and produced by Muhammed Mannil under the banner of Mannil Films. Lal americayil stars Prem Nazir, Jagathy Sreekumar, Cochin Haneefa, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Vinay Vishwanath, Cochin Hanifa and Oduvil Unnikrishnan. The screenplay is written by Cochin Haneefa. The music was composed by Johnson. Cinematography was done by Anandakkuttan and editing by G. Venkittaraman. It was released on 5th September 1989. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Mannil Films.
