Lionheart is a 2018 English-language Comedy film written by Genevieve Nnaji, Chinny Onwugbenu, C. J. Obasi, Ishaya Bako and Emil Garuba. The movie is directed by Genevieve Nnaji and produced by Chinny Onwugbenu under the banner of The Entertainment Network. Running a company can be challenging, especially if you are a female in a male-dominated industry. Looking to prove her worth, Adaeze steps up to the challenge when her father, Chief Ernest Obiagu is forced to take a step back due to health issues. Ironically, he appoints his crude and eccentric brother, Godswill, instead to run the company with his young daughter. Complications arise when they discover that the family business is in dire financial straits and both Adaeze and Godswill try to save the company in their own way to crazy and often hilarious results. Lionheart stars Genevieve Nnaji, Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Dika Ofoma and Peter Okoye. The music was composed by Kulanen Ikyo. Cinematography was done by Yinka Edward and editing by George Cragg. The movie has a running time of 95 minutes. It was released on 4th January 2019 in English and Igbo languages. The film made a box office gross of ₦21 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Netflix.
