Little Children is a 2006 English-language Drama Romance motion picture written by Todd Field and Tom Perrotta. The movie is directed by Todd Field and produced by Todd Field, Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa under the banner of Bona Fide in collaboration with Standard Film Company. The lives of two lovelorn spouses from separate marriages, a registered sex offender, and a disgraced ex-police officer intersect as they struggle to resist their vulnerabilities and temptations in suburban Massachusetts. Little children features Kate Winslet, Jennifer Connelly, Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Noah Emmerich, Gregg Edelman and Callie Thompson. The screenplay is written by Todd Field and Tom Perrotta which is inspired from Little Children by Tom Perrotta. The music was composed by Thomas Newman.
