Loot is a 2011 Hindi-language Action Comedy film directed by Rajnish Raj Thakur and Sanjay Khanna and produced by Sunil Shetty, Shabbir Boxwala and Anup Gandhi under the banner of Popcorn Motion Pictures. Four burglars end up stealing a vehicle from robbers as well as unknowingly breaking in the house of a notorious gangster. Loot features Govinda in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sunil Shetty, Mahakshay Chakraborty, Javed Jaffrey, Shweta Bhardwaj, Mimoh Chakraborty and Prem Chopra. The music was composed by Mika Singh along with Shravan Sinha and Shamir Tandon. Cinematography was done by T. Surendra Reddy and editing by Ashok Honda. The motion picture has a running time of 110 mins. It was released on 4th November 2011. Loot was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
