Lowriders is a 2016 English-language Adventure Crime film written by Elgin James and Cheo Hodari Coker. The movie is directed by Ricardo De Montreuil and produced by Brian Grazer and Jason Blum. A young street artist, Danny, in East Los Angeles is caught between his father's obsession with lowrider car culture, his ex-felon brother and his need for self-expression. Danny puts his graffiti artist skills to use and paints murals on the hoods of lowrider cars to help his brother win an upcoming competition. Lowriders stars Demi N Bichir, Gabriel Chavarria, Theo Rossi, Melissa Benoist, Tony Revolori, Eva Longoria and Yuri Zackoqv. The music was composed by Bryan Senti. Cinematography was done by Andr s E. S nchez and editing by Billy T. Fox and Kiran Pallegadda. The film has a running time of 99 minutes. It was released on 28th April 2017. Lowriders was made on a budget of $5 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by BH Tilt.
