Maamaankam is a 1979 Malayalam-language Action Drama motion picture written by N. Govindankutty and directed by Navodaya Appachan and produced by Jijo Punnoose, Jose Punnoose and Navodaya Appachan under the banner of Navodaya Studio. Maamaankam stars Prem Nazir in the title role along with Jayan, Jose Prakash and Alummoodan in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by N. Govindankutty. The music was composed by K. Raghavan. Cinematography was done by Marcus Bartley and editing by T. R. Sekhar. It was released on 18th February 1979. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Navodaya.
