Machine Gun Preacher is a 2011 English-language Action Biography movie written by Jason Keller and directed by Marc Forster and produced by Robbie Brenner, Deborah Giarratana, Craig Chapman and Gary Safady under the banner of Apparatus in collaboration with Safady Entertainment, 1984 Private Defense Contractors, Mpower Pictures and Virgin Produced. Sam Childers is a former drug-dealing biker tough guy who found God and became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children who've been forced to become soldiers. Machine gun preacher features Gerard Butler in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Michelle Monaghan, Michael Shannon, Kathy Baker, Ryann Campos, Madeline Carroll and Souleymane Sy Savane. The screenplay is written by Jason Keller which is inspired from Another Man's War by Sam Childers. The music was composed by Asche & Spencer.
