Maki is a 2018 Japanese-language Drama motion picture. Maki is the story of displacement, power, and vulnerability told through the relationship between a hostess, the young man she loves, and the boss who controls them. The story is set in the underworld of the New York City's Japanese Diaspora. Maki stars Mieko Harada, Julian Cihi, Naomi Sundberg, Gina Hiraizumi, Shiori Ichikawa, Yuko Torihara and Mike Haley.
