Malayali is a 2009 Malayalam-language Drama movie written by J. Pallassery and C.s. Sudesh. The movie is directed by C.s. Sudesh and C. S. Sudhesh and produced by Praghesh Sukumaran and Shajil Majeed under the banner of Lal Media. Madhavan is loved and respected by everyone in the village except his brothers who hate him. Matters get worse after his brothers try to falsely implicate him in an acquaintance's murder case. Malayali stars Kalabhavan Mani in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Bijukuttan, Santha Devi, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Jaffer Idukki, Irshad Abdu and Salim Kumar. The music was composed by Mohan Sithara. Cinematography was done by P.Sukumar and editing by Hariharaputhran. It was released on 1st January 2009. Malayali was made on a budget of ₹1 crore.
