A prince gets banished from his kingdom when he is falsely accused by a girl. His life turns worse when a sage grants him three wishes, which he eventually loses to thugs. Manalane mangayin bhagyam stars Gangadhar, Bharathi, Suma, T. N. Balakrishna, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Anjali Devi and Saroja Devi B. The music was composed by Vijaya Bhaskar.
