An engaging biographical drama Manto features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the protagonists along with Rasika Dugal, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Javed Akhtar, and Rajshri Deshpande in supporting roles. Nawazzudin Siddique, as not taken any remuneration. It is a 2018 Hindi movie written and directed by Nandita Das. The backdrop of the story is about the partition of India- Pakistan. In this case, it is about a writer who decides to leave Mumbai and shift to Lahore. The struggles he faces to get acclimatized to his new environment is brought about in the film.
