Marudu Pandi is a 1990 Tamil-language Drama motion picture written by R. P. Viswam and directed by Manoj Kumar and produced by S. Selvarethinam under the banner of Ponmanam Films. Marudu pandi stars Ramki in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Seetha, Nirosha, Nassar, S. S. Chandran, Senthil and Kovai Sarala. The screenplay is written by Manoj Kumar. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja. Cinematography was done by R. H. Ashok and editing by B. Krishnakumar and Srinivas. The film has a running time of 130 minutes. It was released on 17th August 1990.
