Maya Machhindra is a 1932 Marathi-language Drama motion picture written by Gabbita Venkata Rao and directed by Rajaram Vankudre Shantaram and Babubhai Mistry and produced by Pinjala Subba Rao under the banner of P. S. R. Pictures. The story is based on the life of Matsyendranath or Machindranath one of the eighty-four Mahasiddhas, tantric yogic master and the founder of nath lineage, and his famous disciple, baba Gorakhnath. Maya machhindra stars N. T. Rama Rao in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Vanisri, Govindrao Tembe, Durga Khote, Master Vinayak, Leela and Rajarambapu Purohit. The screenplay is written by Babu Bhai Mistry. The music was composed by Govindrao Tembe along with Satyam. Cinematography was done by K. S. Prasad and editing by Kanda Swamy. The movie has a running time of 138 mins. It was released on 1st January 1932.
