Mayoora is a 1975 Kannada-language Drama History film written by Devudu Narasimha Sastri and directed by Vijay and produced by T. P. Venugopal. The movie presents the story of a saintly boy who realises his royal connections and his return to his rightful place. Mayoora features Rajkumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Manjula, K. S. Ashwath, Vajramuni, Srinath, Balkrishna and Bhatti Mahadevappa. The music was composed by G. K. Venkatesh. Cinematography was done by Annayya and Mallik and editing by Babu and Rajan. The movie has a running time of 178 minutes. It was released on 15th August 1975. The Film was successful at box office. Mayoora was made on a budget of ₹40 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore.
