Modala Sala is a 2010 Kannada-language Romance Comedy film written by H.c. Venugopal and Purushottham C Somanathapura. The movie is directed by Purushottham C Somanathapura and Purushottham C. Somanathapura and produced by Purushottham C Somanathapura and Yogesh Narayan under the banner of Karnataka Talkies. Karthik(Yash) falls in love with a girl named Deepa(Bhaama) and when they decide to get married. Their parents are reluctant for accepting their marriage. Modala sala stars Yash, Avinash, Bhama Kurup, Rangayana Raghu and Thara. The screenplay is written by Purushottham C. Somanathapura. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna.
