Mugavari is a 2000 Tamil-language Drama Romance film written by Balakumaran and Durai. The movie is directed by V. Z. Durai and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy and S. N. Raja under the banner of NIC Arts. An aspiring music director, trying to realize his dream for over eight years, sacrifices his love for his ambition, but faces a tricky situation when his brother's health deteriorates and his family is at risk financially. Mugavari stars Raghuvaran in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including K. Vishwanath, Vivek, Suchindra Bali, Jyothika Sadanah, Ajith Kumar and S Manivannan Rajagopal. The screenplay is written by V. Z. Durai. The music was composed by Deva. Cinematography was done by P. C. Sriram and editing by Suresh Urs. The film has a running time of 156 minutes.
