Munich is a 2005 English-language Crime Drama motion picture written by Tony Kushner, Eric Roth, George Jonas and Tom Whitter. The movie is directed by Steven Spielberg, Tom Whitter and Tom Pollock and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Barry Mendel, Colin Wilson and Steven Spielberg under the banner of Universal Pictures in collaboration with DreamWorks Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, The Kennedy/Marshall Company and Alliance Atlantis. Based on the true story of the Black September aftermath, about the five men chosen to eliminate the ones responsible for that fateful day. Munich stars Eric Bana in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Daniel Craig, Ciar N Hinds, Mathieu Kassovitz, Hanns Zischler, Geoffrey Rush and Ciaran Hinds. The screenplay is written by Tony Kushner and Eric Roth which is inspired from Vengeance by George Jonas. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner John Williams.
