Nacho Libre is a 2006 English-language Comedy Family motion picture written by Jared Hess, Jerusha Hess and Mike White. The movie is directed by Jared Hess and produced by Jack Black, David Klawans, Julia Pistor, Mike White and Ricardo Del R O under the banner of Nickelodeon Movies in collaboration with Black & White and HH Films. Berated all his life by those around him, a monk follows his dream and dons a mask to moonlight as a Luchador (Mexican wrestler). Nacho libre features Jack Black in the title role along with an ensemble cast including H Ctor Jim Nez, Ana De La Reguera, Héctor Jiménez, Darius Rose, Moises Arias and Diego Eduardo Gomez. The music was composed by Danny Elfman along with Beck. Cinematography was done by Javier Perez and editing by Billy Weber. The movie has a running time of 92 minutes. It was released on 16th June 2006. The Film was successful at box office. Nacho Libre was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $99 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Paramount Pictures.
