Nayak is a 2001 Hindi-language Drama Romance film written by Anurag Kashyap and directed by S. Shankar and produced by A.m. Rathnam under the banner of Sri Surya Movies. Nayak stars Anil Kapoor in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Jatin Bora and Ravi Sharma. The screenplay is written by S.
