Nessun Dorma is a 2016 Cantonese-language Drama Mystery film directed by Herman Yau and produced by Paco Wong, Ken Yue and Stanley Tong under the banner of Sun Entertainment Culture in collaboration with Homemade Holdings and Sil-Metropole Organisation. Primary school teacher Brian Fong (Andy Hui) becomes depressed after his wife's suicide. Unable to take care of his dog, he decides to leave it with Beloved Pets, where he befriends founder Jasmine Tsang (Janice Man). Pressed by her family, Jasmine agrees to a marriage of convenience. A week before her wedding, she gets cold feet. Jasmine looks for Brian in the country side to find out if he shares her feelings. Only then will she have a reason to try to live the life she wants. Unfortunately, Brian is unwilling to commit. The heart-broken Jasmine drives home alone and is attacked. When she finally comes to, she finds herself locked up in a room naked. During her confinement, her captor ms to be sleepless and she often hears the theme song Nessun Dorma from Puccini's masterpiece Turnadot. Nessun dorma stars Gordon Lam in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Andy Hui, Janice Man, Andy Chi-on Hui, Ka Tung Lam, Hin-wai Au and Jacky Cai. The screenplay is written by Erica Li and Zendodric which is inspired from Nessun Dorma by Erica Li and Zendoric. The music was composed by Mak Chun Hung. Cinematography was done by Joe Chan and editing by Azrael Chung. The motion picture has a running time of 90-88 minutes. It was released on 3rd November 2016. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Bravos Pictures.
