No Mercy is a 1986 English-language Crime Drama film written by James Carabatsos and directed by Richard Pearce. A Chicago detective, king to avenge his partner's death, travels to New Orleans, where he unexpectedly becomes involved in a cat and mouse game of survival. No mercy features Richard Gere in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Kim Basinger, Jeroen Krabbé, George Dzundza, Gary Basaraba, William Atherton and Terry Kinney. It was released on 19th December 1986. The movie made a box office gross of $1 million.
