Overdrive is a 2017 English-language Action Thriller motion picture written by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. The movie is directed by Antonio Negret and produced by Pierre Morel, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Gr Goire Melin and Christopher Tuffin under the banner of Kinology in collaboration with Sentient Pictures. Overdrive stars Scott Eastwood in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Freddie Thorp, Ana De Armas, Gaia Weiss, Simon Abkarian, Clemens Schick and Abraham Belaga. Cinematography was done by Laurent Bar s. It was released on 29th June 2017 in English and French languages. Overdrive was made on a budget of €24 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Oc an Films.
