Paras is a 1971 Hindi-language Drama Family movie written by S.m. Abbas, Darpan and S.m Abbas. The movie is directed by C.p. Dixit and C.p Dixit and produced by N.n Sippy and M.a Madhu. Dharam Singh and his sister Bela's destinies gets re-shaped when they make enemy with the powerful and influential Thakur Arjun Singh.. Paras features Sanjeev Kumar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Raakhee, Farida Jalal, Shatrughan Sinha, Rakhee Gulzar, Mehmood Ali and Kamal Mehra. The music was composed by Kalyanji Anandji. Cinematography was done by K.H Kapadia and editing by Waman Bhosle and Guru Dutt. It was released on 1st January 1971.
