Parvarish is a 1977 Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture written by Kader Khan, Prayag Raj and K.k. Shukla. The movie is directed by Manmohan Desai and produced by A.a. Nadiadwala under the banner of A.G. Films Pvt.Ltd. A policeman adopts the son of a bandit. A misunderstanding leads the officer's own biological son to believe he is the bandit's son and he takes up a secret life of crime; meanwhile, the adopted son becomes an officer of the law. Parvarish features Shammi Kapoor in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Neetu Singh, Shabana Azmi, Kader Khan and Amjad Khan. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant-pyarelal. Cinematography was done by Sudhin Majumdar and editing by Kamlakar Karkhanis. It was released on 11th November 1977. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹6 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by B4U Entertainment.
