Patanga is a 1971 Hindi-language Action Comedy film written by S Vinod Kumar, Neeraj and Mukhram Sharma. The movie is directed by Kedar Kapoor and produced by Kedar Kapoor. A wealthy male decides to wed a woman who is in love with his employee's son. Patanga stars Shashi Kapoor in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Vimi Shiv Agarwal, Ajit, Sajjan, Wasti, Ashok Kapoor and Laxmi Chhaya. The music was composed by Shankarsingh Raghuwanshi along with Shankar Jaikishan. It was released on 1st January 1971.
