Pets is a 2002 English-language Comedy Family motion picture directed by P. J. Hogan and produced by Lucy Fisher, Douglas Wick and Patrick Mccormick. Brother and sister, Peter and Shannon, are left alone at home; they stumble across a truck full of stolen gold and are held captive by three incompetent bank robbers. Pets features Jason Isaacs in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jeremy Sumpter, Richard Briers, Olivia Williams, Lynn Redgrave, Ludivine Sagnier and Josh Grolman. The screenplay is written by P. J. Hogan and Michael Goldenberg which is inspired from Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie. The music was composed by James Newton Howard. Cinematography was done by Donald McAlpine and editing by Garth Craven and Michael Kahn. The movie has a running time of 113 minutes. Pets was made on a budget of $130 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Universal Pictures.
