Phantom Town is a 1999 English-language Horror Western movie directed by Jeff Burr and produced by Charles Band, Harlan Freedman and Kirk Edward Hansen under the banner of Canarom Productions in collaboration with The Kushner-Locke Company and Castel Film Romania. When a sixteen year-old boy and his two young siblings set off on a quest to find their missing parents, their search leads them to a ghost town in the middle of the desert. They soon discover that this is no ordinary tourist spot. In fact, according to the maps, it doesn't exist at all! Finding their way into this mysterious place, the kids must confront the sinister force that dwells beneath it in order to rescue their parents - and save themselves. Written by Christopher Landry. Phantom town stars John Patrick White, Taylor Locke, Lauren Summers, Jim Metzler, Belinda Montgomery, Gabriel Spahiu and Mary Whitehead. The screenplay is written by Benjamin Carr. The music was composed by Dennis Smith. Cinematography was done by Viorel Sergovici and editing by Barrett Taylor. The film has a running time of 95 minutes. It was released on 16th February 1999.
