Phatikchand is a 1983 Bengali-language Adventure Crime motion picture written by Satyajit Ray and directed by Sandip Ray. Mystery-drama about a botched kidnapping of a Calcutta schoolboy and his relationships and adventures. Phatikchand features See Below, Haradhan Bannerjee, Biplab Chatterjee, Tarun Mitra, Ramesh Mukherjee, Kamal Deb and Harpal Singh. The motion picture is based on Phatik Chand by Satyajit Ray. The music was composed by Berlin International Film Festival winner Satyajit Ray. Cinematography was done by Soumendu Roy and editing by Dulal Dutta. It was released on 1st January 1983.
