Pineapple is a 2008 English-language Drama movie directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Judd Apatow and Shauna Robertson under the banner of Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Relativity Media and Apatow Productions. Andrew, an Austin, Texas publishing executive, who's on the wagon and in A.A., walks in on his wife in bed with another man, and in the nasty divorce that follows, Andrew falls hard off the wagon and takes up with Crystal, a hostess at the Yellow Rose, a strip club Andrew visits on a whim and then starts to frequent with abandon. Alternating between concern for his pre-teen daughter, Alex, and his enjoyment of rough sex and cocaine with Crystal, Andrew undergoes mood swings that get him into further trouble with his ex. He's soon in debt to his drug supplier. Is Crystal after his money? What will happen if he runs out? Is there a 12-step way out - to let go and let God? Written by.
