The movie is directed by Norman Ferguson, T. Hee and Wilfred Jackson and produced by Walt Disney under the banner of Walt Disney Productions. A living puppet, with the help of a cricket as his conscience, must prove himself worthy to become a real boy. Pinocchio features Cliff Edwards in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Dickie Jones, Christian Rub, Mel Blanc, Walter Catlett, Charles Judels and Evelyn Venable. The screenplay is written by Ted Sears, Otto Englander, Webb Smith, William Cottrell, Joseph Sabo, Erdman Penner and Aurelius Battaglia which is inspired from The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. The music was composed by Paul J. Smith along with Leigh Harline. The motion picture has a running time of 88 minutes.
