Poe is a 2011 Korean-language Drama motion picture written and directed by Lee Chang-dong and produced by Lee Joon-dong under the banner of Pine House Film. It tells the story of a suburban woman in her 60s who begins to develop an interest in poetry while struggling with Alzheimer's disease and her irresponsible grandson. Poe features Yoon Jeong-hee in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Natalie Dormer, Leslie Odom Jr, Kevin Mcnally, Katherine Barrell, Tabrett Bethell and Stephen Bogaert. Cinematography was done by Kim Hyun-seok and editing by Kim Hyeon. The movie has a running time of 139 minutes. It was released on 31st December 2011. The motion picture made a box office gross of $2 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Next Entertainment World.
