Postcard is a 2014 Marathi-language Drama Family movie written by Gajendra Ahire and directed by Gajendra Ahire and Ben Lewin and produced by Kevin Scott Frakes, Tatiana Kelly, Buddy Patrick and Jim Young under the banner of Animus Films in collaboration with PalmStar Media, Serena Films and Windy Hill Productions. Postcard stars Paul Rudd in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Tom Wilkinson, Giancarlo Giannini and Hiroyuki Sanada. The screenplay is written by Robert Rodat which is inspired from The Catcher Was a Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff. The music was composed by Howard Shore. Cinematography was done by Andrij Parekh and editing by Mark Yoshikawa. The movie has a running time of 98 minutes. It was released on 25th April 2014. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by IFC Films. The film reveals the stories of three people whose lives are dependent on the incomplete letters. It showcases a postman's life, where he is n getting unknowingly emotionally connected with the letters and lives of the recipients. It's the postman's wife who has a habit of reading the letters of people. For postman giving their respective letters to people is the only thing, initially he never got involved with the content of letters. Its then, when she comes across a letter and shares the content with her husband. Since then the postman also unknowingly gets attached with the recipients and their emotions. And this content of letters makes him restless, and some where he starts feeling guilty, thinking whether he could help these people.
