Praja Theerpu is a 1989 Telugu-language Drama film written and directed by A. Sarkunam and produced by Nazir under the banner of Sherali Films. Praja theerpu stars Vimal, Oviya, Saranya Ponvannan, Ganja Karuppu, Ilavarasu, Antony and Dr Rajasekhar. The music was composed by S. S. Kumaran. Cinematography was done by Om Prakash and editing by Raja Mohammad. It was released on 1st January 1989. The Film was successful at box office. Praja Theerpu was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Ayngaran International.
