The music was composed by Hugo Friedhofer along with Leigh Harline, Arthur Lange, Cyril J. Mockridge, Alfred Newman and David Raksin. Cinematography was done by Robert Flaherty and editing by William Hornbeck. The film has a running time of 53 minutes. It was released on 27th May 1942. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by 20th Century Fox. At the 1943 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Documentary.
