Prem Kahani is a 1975 Hindi-language Action Drama film written by Jayant Dharmadhikari, Rahi Masoom Reza and Raj Khosla. The movie is directed by Raj Khosla and produced by Raj Khosla, Lekhraj Khosla and Bolu Khosla under the banner of Khosla Enterprises. While on the run from the law, assisted by a Pathan truck-driver, Sher Khan, Rajesh finds shelter in the house of his childhood friend, newly-wed Superintendent of Police, Dheeraj Kumar - not knowing that he will soon be confronted by an embittered Kamini, who is the bride of Dheeraj; Sher Khan, who has been arrested and is being tortured may soon reveal Rajesh's hiding place, and from Dheeraj himself when he finds out that his best friend loves his bride. Prem kahani stars Shashi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Vinod Khanna, Mumtaz Askari, K.n. Singh, Trilok Kapoor and Jawaharlal Nehru. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant-pyarelal. Cinematography was done by Kaka Thakur and editing by Waman Bhosle. The movie has a running time of 150 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1975.
