Puthiya Velicham is a 1979 Malayalam-language Action Adventure film written and directed by Shrikumaran Thampi and Sreekumaran Thampi and produced by S. Kumar under the banner of Sastha Productions. Puthiya velicham features Jayan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Srividya Krishnamurthy, Jayabharathi Nair, Jose Prakash, Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair and Karan. The screenplay is written by Sreekumaran Thampi. The music was composed by Salil Choudhury along with Salil Chowdhary. Cinematography was done by N. A. Thara and editing by K. Narayanan. It was released on 1st January 1979. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Sastha Productions.
