The screenplay is written by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle which is inspired from REC by Jaume Balaguer and Paco Plaza. Cinematography was done by Ken Seng and editing by Elliott Greenburg. The motion picture has a running time of 89 minutes. It was released on 27th November 2008. The Film was successful at box office. Quarantine was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $41 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Sony Pictures Releasing.
