Raam is a 2009 Kannada-language Comedy Drama motion picture written by Gopimohan, K. Madesha, Adithya Babu and M. S. Ramesh. The movie is directed by K. Madesha and K. Madesh and produced by Adithya Babu and Aditya Babu under the banner of Adithya Arts. Pooja's rich uncles try to forcibly marry her off and Raam rescues her from this marriage. She falls in love with him, but her uncles don't approve of him. Now it is up to Raam to win their hearts. Raam stars Puneeth Rajkumar, Priyamani, Doddanna, Srinath, Rangayana Raghu, Shobharaj and Chitra Shenoy. The screenplay is written by K. Madesh which is inspired from Ready by Gopimohan. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna. Cinematography was done by A. V. Krishna Kumar and editing by T. Shashikumar, and Deepu S. Kumar. The motion picture has a running time of 120 minutes. It was released on 25th December 2009. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Jayanna Films.
