Railway Children is a 2017 Kannada-language Crime Drama film written by Akash and Prithvi Konanur. The movie is directed by Prithvi Konanur and produced by Prithvi Konanur under the banner of Tin Drum Beats. Every year in India, an estimated 125000 children use the railways to runaway from home for various reasons. While some of them are returned home others survive around platforms enduring a life of abuse, sexual abuse, substance abuse, drug abuse, crime and violence. Railway Children explores the underbelly of this world through the eyes of 12 year old Raju. Railway children stars Manohara K. in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Syed Pervez, Yash Shetty, Divya M. R., Karthik, Parimala and Ramesh Babu. The screenplay is written by Prithvi Konanur. The music was composed by Chandan Shetty. Cinematography was done by Eswaran Thangavel and editing by Shivkumar Swamy. The movie has a running time of 115 minutes. It was released on 22nd December 2017.
